The SOUNDS of THURSDAYS present week two of the four week “Thursday listening experiences” presenting “The Rising Sons” at the Hood Canal Brewery. Enjoy the gifted music of Thys Wallwork and Mikey Gentry as they combine for the most unique music experience in Kitsap County.

For their first hour in the front room at the Hood Canal Brewery, Thys Wallwork [of Skinny Blue fame] and Mikey Gentry [lead guitarist for Planet Groove] change their pace and present a “work-thru” of their upcoming album to be released one week later on 1/19/2023. These talented musicians meet in an “acoustic setting”…and the results are superb as they pass the “musical baton” back and forth beautifully. For hour two, they swing into an acoustical array of their favorite cover songs by: Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young, Bob Dylan and many, many others.
